Resin Driveway Installer in Chester

Resin Driveway Installers in Chester — what to expect

For homeowners in Chester looking to enhance their property's exterior, a resin driveway offers a durable and attractive solution. Our local Cheshire installers specialise in both resin bound and resin bonded systems, each providing a distinct yet equally effective finish. Resin bound driveways, for instance, create a smooth, seamless and permeable surface by thoroughly mixing a specially formulated polyurethane binder with decorative aggregate before being trowelled to a perfect finish. This method is particularly effective in creating SUDS compliant surfaces, meaning they allow water to drain through naturally, helping to prevent puddling and surface water runoff. Alternatively, resin bonded driveways are created by applying a layer of resin and then scattering aggregate over the top, which is then swept up and removed. This technique also utilises a high-quality polyurethane binder, ensuring excellent longevity and resistance to the elements, including UV stability to prevent fading. Both types of resin driveways are available in a wide array of coloured aggregate options, allowing for complete customisation to complement your home's existing aesthetic. Crucially, these installations are designed to be anti-slip, providing added safety, and are always laid on a properly prepared MOT type 1 sub-base to guarantee a stable and long-lasting result here in Chester, CH1.
