Resin Driveway Installer in Southleigh

Resin Driveway Installers in Southleigh — what to expect

For homeowners in Southleigh and the surrounding areas of East Devon, the choice of driveway surfacing has never been more appealing, with expert local installers offering a range of sophisticated and durable options. You can explore both resin bound and resin bonded driveway systems, each providing a visually attractive and long-lasting solution. The resin bound method involves thoroughly mixing a specially formulated polyurethane binder with decorative aggregate – a selection of natural coloured stones – before laying it to create a smooth, trowelled finish. This creates a truly permeable surface, allowing water to drain through freely, which is crucial for SUDS compliance and helps to prevent standing water and icy patches during colder months. Alternatively, the resin bonded process involves applying a layer of resin to an existing solid surface, onto which the decorative aggregate is then scattered and trowelled, offering a different aesthetic and feel. Both systems benefit from UV-stable resins, ensuring the colour of your chosen aggregate remains vibrant for years, and are designed to offer excellent anti-slip properties. When considering a new driveway in the EX24 postcode district, ensuring a proper MOT type 1 sub-base is installed is fundamental for stability and longevity, and local Southleigh specialists are well-versed in this essential preparation.
