Resin Driveway Installer in Old Estate Yards

Resin Driveway Installers in Old Estate Yards — what to expect

For homeowners in Old Estate Yards, Somerset, looking to enhance their property’s kerb appeal and functionality, a new resin driveway offers a sophisticated and practical solution. Whether you opt for the smooth, seamless finish of a resin bound driveway, where decorative aggregate is thoroughly mixed with a durable polyurethane binder before being trowelled into place, or the textured, more granular feel of a resin bonded system, which involves scattering aggregate onto a layer of resin, both provide a visually appealing and hard-wearing surface. These modern driveways are not only aesthetically pleasing, available in a wide array of coloured aggregate options to complement any home's style, but they also offer significant practical benefits. Many installations now focus on creating a permeable surface, which is crucial for SUDS compliance, allowing rainwater to drain through naturally, thus reducing surface water runoff. The high-quality polyurethane binders used are typically UV-stable, resisting discolouration from the sun, and the finished resin surfaces provide an effective anti-slip quality underfoot, even in damp conditions. A properly prepared MOT type 1 sub-base is essential for longevity, ensuring a stable foundation for your new driveway in the Old Estate Yards area.
