Resin Driveway Installer in Westhay

Resin Driveway Installers in Westhay — what to expect

If you're looking to enhance your property in Westhay, Somerset, with a durable and attractive driveway solution, exploring the options for resin bound and resin bonded surfacing is a wise choice. These systems offer a modern alternative to traditional materials, providing a smooth, long-lasting finish that can significantly improve your home's kerb appeal. Our local installers in the Westhay BA6 area specialise in creating beautiful permeable resin surfaces using high-quality polyurethane binders mixed with carefully selected decorative aggregate. The resin bound method creates a smooth, trowelled finish where the aggregate is fully encapsulated, resulting in a smooth and robust surface. Alternatively, resin bonded surfacing involves scattering the aggregate onto a layer of resin, which gives a different textured appearance. Both are excellent choices for creating a permeable surface, meaning water can drain through, which is beneficial for managing surface water and achieving SUDS compliance. The aggregates are available in a wide range of colours and finishes, allowing for bespoke designs tailored to your taste. Furthermore, the UV-stable nature of the binders ensures the colour remains vibrant and doesn't fade over time, and the anti-slip properties offer added safety underfoot. These driveways are typically laid over a properly prepared MOT type 1 sub-base, ensuring excellent structural integrity.
