Resin Driveway Installer in Hawthorn Bush

Resin Driveway Installers in Hawthorn Bush — what to expect

For homeowners in Hawthorn Bush, Worcestershire, looking to enhance their property's kerb appeal and functionality, a new resin driveway offers a durable and attractive solution. We specialise in the installation of both resin bound and resin bonded systems, each providing a distinct yet equally effective finish. Resin bound driveways, often considered the premium option, utilise a specially formulated polyurethane binder mixed with decorative aggregate to create a smooth, trowelled finish. This method results in a permeable surface that allows water to drain through, making it SUDS compliant and a fantastic choice for managing surface water, especially in areas prone to heavy rainfall. Alternatively, resin bonded driveways involve applying a layer of resin to a solid base and then scattering decorative aggregate over the top, which is then swept off, leaving a textured, gravel-like appearance with the benefits of resin. Both techniques employ UV-stable binders to resist colour fading and can incorporate anti-slip additives for added safety. A properly prepared MOT type 1 sub-base is crucial for longevity, ensuring a stable foundation for your new driveway in the DY12 postcode district. Whether you favour the seamless look of resin bound or the textured feel of resin bonded, our local Hawthorn Bush installers can guide you through the options, including a wide array of coloured aggregate choices to perfectly complement your home. We invite you to compare quotes and discover the practical elegance a resin driveway can bring.
